"12 Little things Every Filipino Can do to help our Country"

I found a book worth sharing "12 Little Things every Filipino Can Do To Help our Country" - Alexander L. Lacson

1. Follow traffic rules. Follow the law.
2. Whenever you buy or pay for anything, always ASK FOR AN OFFICIAL RECEIPT.
3. Don't buy smuggled goods. BUY LOCAL, buy Filipino.
4. When you talk to others, especially foreigners, speak POSITIVELY about us and our country
5. Respect your traffic enforcer, policeman and soldier
6. DO NOT LITTER. Dispose your garbage properly. Segregate, Recycle, Conserve.
7. Support your Church.
8. During elections, do your solemn duty.
9. Pay your employees well.
10. Pay your Taxes.
11. ADOPT A SCHOLAR or a POOR CHILD.
12. BE A GOOD PARENT. Teach your kids to follow the law and love our country

Easier said than done, but the simplest act of goodness can really spell the big difference. Belated Happy Independence Day to all.

I saw this guy on tv a few weeks ago when he guested on Jojo Alejar's tv show. Although some people may find his list a bit idealistic, I agree that even the smallest things count for something.

Thanks for visiting my blog. Much appreciated. :)

panaderos: he was actually invited in one of our company events for an "inspirational talk" , at first i thought "here comes another know-it-all guy" but as he share his life to us, this guy really makes sense.

I may not follow all the 12 steps, but now atleast everytime i purchase petrol, i ask for an OFFICIAL RECEIPT (not just the invoice)

one step at a time, and this country will triumph. may be not in our lifetime, but our little contributions can spell a big difference.

thanks for visiting my blog also :-) bisitahin ulit kita madalas...

Great tips bro. If we follow just half of them to the letter, we would be in much better shape by now hehe :)
